As Re-X project lead Simo Ilomets says: “The best building for our planet is the one that doesn’t exist, because then it has no environmental impact at all. The second-best is the one that already exists and can be reused.”
..and that's the idea behind Re-X. Since 2025, our team of engineers, researchers, software developers, and business professionals has been working on the methodology to make structural reuse a standard procedure.
